• iPod The iPod classic is still the best standard iPod with an excellent 160GB storage space and small video screen, it costs $249. Excellent for those with a desire to use the gadget for watching movies on a TV, this is the ideal travel companion as it should hold your entire music collection and around 200 movies.

• iPhone The iPhone 3Gs is the fastest and most powerful iPhone yet. The storage has been improved to a decent 32GB on the more expensive model (around $299). This is therefore the best iPod available right now in January 2010 because it combines a phone, camera, iTouch applications and games, can store your whiole music collection and plenty of movies and photos too. Unless you need the extra storage space of the newest iPod classic, the iPhone 3Gs is the ipod to buy.

• iTouch This is not the best iPod to buy, even the newest iTouch isn't worth buying in our opinion. Much better to save up and buy and iPhone.

• iPod Nano The newest iPod Nano is a very nice little gadget, it has a video camera on board, is super slim and sexy and has a reasonable storage space of 16GB for the $179 version. We think this too expensive though as the screen is too small, so it is basically a nice mp3 player.

• iPod Shuffle The newest iPod Shuffle is another beautiful mp3 player, it is tiny and prices start at $59 for the 2GB version. This is an excellent buy for those who want the worlds smallest mp3 player, or for those that can't afford the newest iPod Classic or iPhone yet.

Newest iPod recommends that you buy the iPhone 3Gs 32GB model. It combines the best of all the other newest iPod machines. We are waiting eagerly for an 80GB model because that will be the ultimate iPod to buy.
